Extremely Cautionary Experience at Maserati of Long Island – Proceed at Your Own Risk
I feel compelled to share my troubling experience with the service department at Maserati of Long Island in the hope that others will not have to go through what I did.
I brought my Maserati Levante in for several issues:
Routine maintenance
Brake inspection
Repairing the gas door
An intermittent issue where one of the doors wouldn't stay closed after starting the car in very cold weather (a rare but repeatable issue)

I went in to get my duplicate key linked. Jenn was very prompt in doing the job and had my car washed within 45 minutes which I really appreciated as I had another appointment.
There Is Not Anything Better Then Dealing With A Professional Car Dealership. The Car Buying Process Can Be Very Stressful. This Was Not The Case With Andrew AT Maserati Of Long Island. I have Purchased Many Cars Over The Past 50 Yeats And This Purchase Was The Best Experience I Have Ever Had. I Credit Andrew And The Entire Staff Of Maserati Of Long Island. I Would Highly Recommend Maserati Of Long Island.

Every time we bring in our car for service they find many many things “wrong” with the car even though the car is perfectly fine. They try to find every way to trick us with nonsense and outrageous prices. Very disappointed. Not trustworthy whatsoever. I will always bring my car to any other shop besides Maserati Service.

To be honest the worst customer service ever. I have been going to the dealership for service for years spent over $30,000. I came in for a seat not working was told it would be $5000. I said why can't you just change the motor. They said they have to change the entire seat track. I went to another dealership part and labor is $500. To be honest it was a shakedown. I had scheduled an appointment for the next day to see a specific car. I drove 1.5 hours to the dealership, only to be told that the car had been sold a week ago. To make matters worse, the person who had confirmed my appointment was off that day, leaving me with no one to address my concerns. This level of mismanagement and poor communication is unacceptable and a huge waste of my time.
Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting Ferrari/Maserati of Long Island for vehicle servicing, and I must commend the team for their exceptional and comprehensive service delivery from inception to completion. The staff at the service department demonstrated a remarkable commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction by greeting me with professionalism and a genuine interest in my needs. The service advisor was highly knowledgeable, expounding on the detailed work that was being performed on my vehicle. Great people and pleasant overall experience. Fred did excellent job and never pressured for a sale. He showed us the magic of a Maserati.
Terrific experience. From the reception when I first arrived until the deal with Fred was made. Communication was timely and Fred was most patient explaining the workings of the car.
My mist recent leases were Mercedes and Porsche. I have been used to professional and high level service. DJ Gonzales and Mazerati of Long Island not only provided the highest level of professional sales advice, care and service, they far exceeded my high expectations. I would give them a six star rating if I could.
So far, I’ve had great communication and a fair deal on a 2023 Levante F-Tributo. The sales manager, Shawn, and my salesman, DJ are straightforward, and easy to work with. The paperwork provided by the business manager, Maggie, reflects exactly the deal to which we agreed. It certainly is a pleasure to deal with a solid team that makes the car purchasing process so easy and stress-free.
